Hayley Condon - Senior Associate - Wills & Estates, Family Law
Hayley Condon heads the Family Law department, having joined Attwood Marshall Lawyers in 2015.

Hayley has over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry. She graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2008 with a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2009 after working as an articled clerk for 7 years at a prominent law firm on the Gold Coast.

Between 2002 and 2015, she worked under the mentorship of the late Charles Cooper, a well-known force of the family law world. She followed Charles in 2007 when he set up his own boutique firm, assisting him in complex matters from an early stage in her career, and stayed there until he sadly passed away in 2015.

Hayley remembers Charles as a truly dedicated and committed lawyer who taught her the importance of properly advocating for her clients as well as giving them realistic advice.

Becoming a lawyer was always on the cards for Hayley. She wanted to be in law from as young as four years old, sitting in her little yellow chair watching legal television shows such as Night Court and later, Judge Judy.

At Attwood Marshall Lawyers, Hayley’s area of practice includes matrimonial and de facto property matters, financial agreements, parenting disputes, divorce applications, and estate planning.

Although Hayley has extensive experience in all aspects of Family Law, she particularly enjoys dealing with more challenging cases involving entrenched and complicated property disputes.

She also excels in complex estate planning, working with high-net-worth clients and intricate entity structures, with a strong interest in self-managed super funds and the crossover between surrogacy law and estate planning.

Hayley is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and the Family Law Practitioners Association.
