Commercial Litigation
Melinda is a lawyer in our Commercial Litigation Department based in the Coolangatta office.
Prior to joining the Attwood Marshall team in November 2008, Melinda worked in one of the largest firms in Newcastle where she had experience in their commercial litigation team as well as the estate litigation team.
Melinda has had extensive experience of commercial litigation matters for corporate and individual clients with a focus on dispute resolution. Melinda’s approach is to clearly identify the real issues and the nature of her client’s disputes to provide the appropriate advice. Her experience includes acting for and advising clients in disputes before the Federal Court, Supreme Court of NSW and Qld, District Court of NSW and Qld and various other Courts and Tribunals both in NSW and Qld.
Melinda combines her legal experience with a view to achieving practical and commercial results.
She has a keen interest in the area of Insolvency and has acted for directors, creditors and other stakeholders in receiverships, voluntary administration, liquidation and bankruptcies.
