Abbi Golightly  completed her Bachelor of Arts (Justice Studies) (with Distinction) and Bachelor of Laws at QUT in 2001 and then commenced working in a Brisbane CBD firm working within the Personal Injuries, Commercial Litigation and Leasing sections before commencing work with a boutique Gold Coast Family Law firm in 2003.  Abbi completed her Articles of Clerkship whilst working in Family Law and in 2003 was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court. 

Abbi has remained working exclusively in Family Law in boutique Family Law firms throughout her career and in 2009 was recognised as a QLS Accredited Specialist in Family Law.   Abbi`s experience extends to all aspects of Family Law and has a keen interest in parenting proceedings involving third parties such as grandparents or other associated carers. 

Abbi is also studying a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice through Griffith University.
